What It Is / How It Works

This is a reusable lid strap, an elastic band that holds a lid in place on a lunch box or pot. Lid straps are a common kitchen accessory for keeping a lid secured while food is carried in its container.

Who It's For / Use Cases

Lid straps suit people who pack lunches for work or school, cooks who carry dishes with lids to a potluck or picnic, and anyone who wants a lid kept snugly in place while a container is moved from one spot to another.

How to Use / Care

1. Use it to strap a lunch box lid.

How to Choose

Compare the 54 cm (21.3 in) length with the lid or container you plan to use. Lids and containers vary in size, so a strap that is too short will not reach around them, and one that is much longer will leave extra band to manage.
